Cape Perpetua / Thor's Well / Devil's Churn / etc.
About halfway down the Oregon coast there is this...hole. When the tide rushes in it fills this partial seacave and blasts saltspray up, often 15 feet into the air. Anyway, it drains back in a spectacular fashion.
When I was out there the wind was insane, with gusts up to around 45 mph, blowing me and my tripod about, so I had to stand back farther than I might have liked to get this shot; otherwise my camera and I would have had been VERY wet/fried. In retrospect, I probably should have tried to shoot a bit wider, but oh well, too late now. While I'm voicing regrets, I wish I also had a 4-6 stop ND filter with as only getting a 1/5 second exposure at f/22 and ISO-50 is kind of sad and I would have wished for a 2-3 second exposure to better capture the motion...
